Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

You wake up early in the morning from your place of stay in Kampala/Entebbe to embark on the transfer to Lake Mburo National Park at around 6 am to the southwest of Uganda 240km about 3 – 4 hours’ drive. You make a stop at Uganda Equator crossing 77km from Kampala for a thrilling cup of coffee and amazing photo shoots before proceeding to pass through impressive countryside landscapes to arrive in Lake Mburo National Park in the mid-morning. Upon arrival, you embark on a rewarding game drive exploring the park’s savannah environment dotted with counts of wild game. You have possibilities of encountering Rothschild Giraffes, Topis, Warthogs, Buffaloes, Elands, Waterbucks, Impala, Burchell’s Zebra among others. You retreat from the activity and settle for lunch. In the afternoon, you embark on a thrilling boat cruise on Lake Mburo with its calm waters overlooking an extensive swamp system and the towering hills beyond on one side, and the forested shoreline on one side. You have possibilities of encountering a range of Hippos and the Nile Crocodiles. Birds like African Fish eagles might be seen perching on the shoreline trees targeting their prey.

Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Begin your day with a cup of coffee and then embark on a nature walk which is a highly welcome activity. The park is open to all visitors who intend to do a guided nature walk and is usually conducted along with the ranger guide. You have an opportunity to walk through the salt lick presumably the candy place for numerous wildlife. Later, you drive out to the Park and visit Igongo culture where you will get to know more about the Ankole Culture with en-route lunch Agip motel in Mbarara. After lunch, drive directly to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will reach in the evening you will be taken to have a glance at traditional salt industries and mining methods, tour around the Crater Lake region.

Day 3: Game drive viewing and Boat cruise on Kazinga channel

Begin your day with a cup of tea and then embark on a morning game drive in the main camp at Mweya peninsular which is attractively positioned, separating Lake George from Lake Edward by the Kazinga channel. This will provide you with the opportunity to view animals like jackals, Bushbucks, forest hogs, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, lions, the beautiful Uganda Kob, bush pigs among others. Later, back to the lodge for late breakfast, relax at the poolside, and wait for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon head to a fantastic launch cruise on the Kazinga channel, with lots of beautiful bird viewing, and a game like buffaloes, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, among others.

Day 4: Wild Chimpanzee tracking, Departure

After breakfast head to Kyambura gorge for a nature walk in an underground forest to such for primates like Chimpanzees, Baboons, monkeys, and many more. While here, you will see different types of trees on which forest elephants feed. After you will drive back to Kampala passing through Maramagambo forest to watch out for different animals en route, have lunch along the way.
